Victoria Loorz, "Restoring Sacred Conversation with the Wild"
Victoria Loorz, MDiv, is a Wild Church Pastor, an Eco-Spiritual Director, founder of the Center for Wild Spirituality (CWS) and co-founder of the ecumenical Wild Church Network. Her award-winning book, "Church of the Wild: How Nature Invites Us into the Sacred" is an invitation to deepen our commitment to a suffering earth by falling in love with it--and calling it church. After pastoring indoor churches for twenty years, Victoria walked out the chapel doors and into the sanctuary of the wild oak trees to stop talking about God and start engaging directly with the sacred presence alive in and between all things. CWS offers intensive certificate programs for EcoSpiritual Direction and Wild Spiritual Leadership through Seminary of the Wild Earth for those committed to restoring, as Thomas Berry says, "the great conversation" with the Holy in intimate relationship with the rest of the animate, living and sacred world.
