Jennifer RoseMary, "St. Hildegard and the Green Goddess"

Jennifer RoseMary (she/her) is a catholic priestess, ecofeminist theologian, ritual leader, preacher, musician and songwriter, poet, facilitator, aspiring herbalist, Reiki practitioner, midwife of justice, and lover of the natural world. She is co-founder and member of Sophia Rising, a worker-owned spiritual cooperative resourcing people on their journey of connecting with the Divine Feminine and healing from patriarchy.

A cradle Catholic, she attended St. Louis University for her undergrad where she received an Honors B.A. in International Studies and Theology with minors in Women’s Studies, Philosophy, and Spanish. Following the call to develop her skills for pastoral and ordained ministry, she later graduated with her Master of Divinity from Eden Theological Seminary in St. Louis, MO in 2019. She will begin her PhD in Christian Theology at St. Louis University this Fall.

Jennifer is particularly grateful to the communion of saints who surround and inspire her life and ministry in this world. She roots her call and spiritual leadership in the women leaders of the early Jesus movement including Mother Mary, Mary the Magdalene, and Mary and Martha of Bethany. She also has particular devotion to St. Francis and St. Clare of Assisi, St. Hildegard of Bingen, and St. Joan of Arc.
